So for the next two weeks, my life will be involved in musical and we have night rehearsals all day this week, with the exception of Friday (cast pictures). We have night rehearsals this week since their are kids in track who have practice after school then they will go to musical afterwards. Freshmen year, I did track after musical was over because I was a featured dancer (I didn't want an injury) and didn't know how to balance track AND musical. So the Monday after musical, I went to my first track practice and it was a big mistake. The transition of being in heels for months and back to sneakers was painful. I was useless anyways and got put into random long distance events during meets. I did long distance since my XC coach was there and I knew people from XC who was in long distance. High school track was dull compared to XC. So I'm not doing track anymore, thank god, and glad I quit after freshmen year. At least I have track down on my college resume. That's something that I don't care that its on my application.
Anywho, so in chorus and musical, I kinda having problems singing some soprano parts since I'm singing as a guy as a dancing cop in the show. So that's fun. Most likely this week and next week, I'll be dressed as a bum (not really) and go my merry way around school. Rehearsals will be intense this week and obviously next week-- SHOW WEEK. For my musical friends who reads my blog, you know what's going on.
