So I've been really busy and been living under a rock ever since school started last month. Luckily, Cross Country will end or me in two weeks, our first student council meeting is tonight, and musical will occur! But first, I want to tell you some stories that happened over the weekend. So I'm in marching band and some marching bands go to "Band Festivals." I'm walking to school to get ready for our second and last festival of the year and on my way over, I pass the Anglican church, that's at the end of my street, and I see a couple taking their engagement photos! I look over and I waved at them. They waved back then when I turned around again, the guy was kissing his fiance and I was like, "Awwwww! That's so cute! :)" I'm such a girl! Then I made it to school for the festival (which was fun and cold). That was Saturday. On Friday night, we finished our football game (we lost 40-36 but it was a really impressive game!) and we (the band) was on our way up the drive way (a giant hill) to get to the band room. Before we went up, there was this guy on a motorcycle and usually vehicles, people, etc. let the band go first so we don't run people over and stuff. But this guy, he stopped, looked at us, then started speeding up the hill with obnoxiously loud motorcycle up the hill. We were all shocked and continued walking. I swear if he did that while we were ON the hill, he could've injured/killed me or my friends. AND to top things off, our band directer mouthed, "Asshole" to the guy. It was so funny! He was so mad! You had to be there to witness the insanity.
That's my weekend! :)
Also, I had my musical auditions yesterday! I sang The Life of the Party from The Wild Party and my monologue was Look at Me Now from Gypsy. I kinda thought it was bad but I hope it was good!
