Well school started today for the Sophomores-Seniors at my school while Grades K-9 had their official first day of school yesterday. I practically loved this summer and it was very life-changing for me. But it was time for me to go back to school as a (drum roll please...) a Sophomore! No more "freshman guilt" any more! i feel weird being a 10th grader but I'm glad I'm out with my hell-ish freshmen year. This year, I actually have a class or two (AND lunch) with most of my best friends. Unfortunately, two of my best friends moved. One to Virginia because her older brother goes to college there and the other went to another district so her family could have an actual house, since they lived in an apartment complex. Also, her parents hates the town we live in (I don't blame them at times) so she is now at freakishly big school. Oh well. We'll hang out and stuff.
While I was in school today, I seriously had my heart broken since the Class of 2012 was not in school. It was a big class and I feel our school is slightly smaller than it was use to be compared to last year. Also, our choir had 45 seniors last year and this year we got 12 freshmen to join. That's not good. The choir population is slightly dying. We'll figure something out. I seriously miss the seniors I met in cross country, musical, and student council. But it's the part of life to leave the nest and be free in the world. Luckily, some seniors will visit a lot for musical and the other seniors I know will visit us during the holidays. That's a plus! On the bright side, cross country is going well. I feel a lot stronger this year. But I'm defiantly not going to be on Varsity! Also, I have dance on Saturday so I'm excited about that! Oh yeah, the musical this year MIGHT be Anything Goes so I hope we do that! I'm so nervous of what song to pick for my audition.
Well I should be getting back to work! Night! :)
