Well I had a almost productive Sunday. I woke up, went to church, went grocery shopping (I saw part of a Steelers game at the pharmacy's TV there), went home, worked on my English paper (which is about what favorite charity I like) research, the
Special Olympics (
http://www.specialolympics.org), ate some pizza for lunch, went back to work, still working on my research, and now I'm learning more about Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founder of
Special Olympics, and I'm really having fun learning about her. I guess you should call this productive, right? Anyway, I'm really tired from my homecoming weekend
. My voice finally recovered from my Cross Country ticket raffle speaking from the game last night (I forgot to mention that for my recent post, sorry! :D). I went up to random people (and people I know) and said,
"Excuse me
sir/ma'am/etc., Do you like hockey? Do you like the Penguins? Well my Cross Country team is selling raffle tickets to go to a game.
If you would win, you would get
4 consecutive box seats, free food, free drinks,
AND free parking! And who doesn't like free parking, right? Well it's $10 for 1 raffle ticket. Our raffle drawing will be November...... , 2011
(that date is remaining anonymous to Blog readers) and if you win, we will call you right away to tell you that you are our luck winner!"
A lot of people liked my pitch and most of them bought a ticket or two! Yippee!!! That was a fun night. Ugh I do not want to have school tomorrow but we have it. So yeah, busy weekend. I also do not know what I wanna be for Halloween. I have some ideas but I'm still thinking. And yes I will be "Trick-or-Treat"-ing this year. I love seeing little kids with their costumes, flashlights, candy bag things, and them screaming (in their high pitch voices),"Trick-or-Treat!!!!" Oh Halloween! Well I'm done writing tonight... goodnight! :)
